Credo have a “classic” Neo-progressive sound that is winning them a renewed following in the Uk since the release of their “comeback” album “Rhetoric” on F2 records towards the end of 2005.

The nucleus of the band – bassist Jim and guitarist Tim – have an association going back to the late 70s, but it wasn’t until the early 90s that the band really got into its stride, when singer Mark came into the band, and they recorded a demo which resulted in their well-received debut album “Field of Vision” for Cyclops in 1995.

Despite various periods of inactivity, the band stayed together and – crucially - recruited Mike Varty (also of Landmarq) towards the end of the 90s. Work finally began on the new album, which was picked up by Dave Robinson of F2, and release to a rapturous reception in 2005. The band have gigged constantly since, including a highly successful support slot with Kino at the CRS in Rotherham in early 2006.
