We

Kings as our Sunday night headliners.

The Flower Kings began as a solo project built around (then) ex Kaipa
guitarist Roine Stolt, but which quickly became a band in its own right
as he took his album “The Flower King” on the road. The Flower
Kings remain Roine's day job, though he has famously contributed towards
the reformed Kaipa, The Tangent and Transatlantic, and has even released
a solo album in 2006.
The band play terrific progressive rock - they can be accessible and adventurous
at the same time, and have one of the most talented rhythm section in
the business, not to mention two contrasting vocalists in Roine and Hasse
Froberg. Keyboardist Tomas Bodin is the bands secret weapon - terrifically
talented and inventive.
The band are also somewhat prolific, with yet another double album “Paradox
Hotel” released in 2006, and with Roine still writing most music,
one wonders when they will take a break!
