Guy Manning is a UK based Composer/Songwriter. He has released 7 albums since 1999 and has a new one, “Anser’s Tree”, due for release Oct 2006. Guy is also a member of the international project band The Tangent (....as is Jonas Reingold of the Flower Kings).
For the festival night, the material will hopefully span all 8 of the Guy Manning albums (... so that means a debut some of the new 2006 album too!). Guy says he's aiming for a more stripped down and acoustic orientated performance to try and get that late night, back of the pub intimate atmosphere (if it’s possible)!
Guy will be joined on stage by Steve Dundon on loan from Molly Bloom & successful jazz solo artist & sax goddess Laura Fowles. The band will be augumented by stalwarts Rick Ashton on Bass, David Million on Guitar and Julie King on Keyboard and Vocals.
