Whitemead Forest Park is a superb holiday village offering self-catering accommodation and pitches for tents and caravans. The cabins and apartments are very reasonably priced (especially if you share) and include the use of the pool, sauna and other leisure facilities. Millingbrook Lodge in the village of Aylburton is just two miles from the Hall and offers excellent B&B accommodation. They can be found at www.millingbrooklodge.com or by calling 01594 842163.

The Fountain Inn in Parkend has a few lovely rooms to let on a B&B basis. There is also a lodge which offers very inexpensive accommodation in full-size bunk beds, provided in dormitories for 2, 3, 4, 9 and 12 people. Mattresses and pillows are provided, but sleeping bags and towels should be brought with you. Alternatively, a 'bed kit' can be rented for a small fee.
